Welcome to the Kennels of Cragland! We are Barry and Kandy Craigie, and family, owners/operators of Cragland Kennels and we are pleased to meet you! We are a small, exclusive kennel of superb Beagles and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, located in the lovely, Canadian prairies.

We have been involved in the purebred dog fancy since the early 1970's and have been active in Conformation, Obedience, Tracking, Schutzhund, and Scent Hurdle Racing. Barry and I are both qualified Obedience instructors and I am a professional groomer (retired) by trade.

Over the years we have held various directors' positions in Dog Clubs across the prairies and in Canada, and are presently serving in the following manner:

Regina Kennel and Obedience Club - Members in Good Standing, past obedience instructors, current conformation handling instructors.

We have brought along many dogs to top show/performance honours, but our mandate is, and always has been, to produce the "Total Dog".

Health and mental soundness are our first priorities. Without a gentle, friendly, and tolerant genetic temperament both the Beagle and Cavalier would not be what they are. And without health, no matter how beautiful your pet is, it really doesn't matter. Cragland embraces mental and physical health, and adds exquisite beauty to boot. We believe in quality - not quantity, and breed only the "Best to the Best". Our Beagles and Cavaliers are from world renowned bloodlines and our breeding stock are carefully screened for health problems.

Documentation of health clearances is available upon request (fax or e-mail only). Our Beagle colours are mainly tri-colour, with the occasional tan and white, and our Cavaliers are exclusively of the blenheim, and tri colour coat variety.

Although they are competition dogs, ours are first and foremost our beloved pets, and are carefully home raised and socialized for optimal development. We believe that all dogs deserve fresh air and sunshine, and our facility is structured to provide acres of safe frolicking areas for our dogs to enjoy!

We indulge our friends with the finest of cuisine and supplements, developing beautiful, healthy bodies and luxurious coats.

Occasionally, Beagles and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are available to approved, non-breeding show and companion homes. Please email or call us for details, phone calls will be returned in a most timely as possible fashion. Sundays we devote to our Lord and Savior, and to our family, both two and four legged.
